ALICE PHOEBE LOU SHELTER

The wonderful Berlin-based talent Alice Phoebe Lou has dropped a delightfully uplifting new single 'Shelter', following on from her 2021 record Child's Play. Producer David Parry crafts the song into a warm and bright sound and it's easy to get hooked on the satisfying guitar melody that runs through the 'Shelter'. Connor Gallaher offers up his skills on pedal steel guitar whilst Ziv Zobelman Yamin's tinkers with keys, both of which morph into a dreamy layer. Alice gives us some words of wisdom, 'Open your door and let the air in, nothing's set in stone my love but you can't change everything'. She continues, 'I’d forgotten how to pray, it can be so hopeful to give in that way, I was chasing ghosts into dark alleys, I wasn't making the most of everything surrounding me'.
